yap,, Grup yang personilnya terdiri dari tiga bersaudara ini terbentuk sekitar tahun 2005. Awalnya Nick Jonas 6 tahun dy dapet kesempatan untuk bernyanyi secara profesional. dan di usia tujuh tahun, Nick sudah tampil di Broadway.

Sekitar tahun 2005, Nick memutuskan untuk mengajak dua saudaranya Kevin Jonas dan Joe Jonas untuk membentuk sebuah grup. Awalnya nama adalah Sons of Jonas yang akhirnya berubah menjadi Jonas Brothers.

Mereka menjadi pelopor 'purity rings', cincin yang dikenakan di jari manis tangan kiri, simbol janji mereka untuk tidak melakukan hubungan seks bebas sebelum menikah. Bahkan menurut Joe, cincin tersebut adalah janji mereka pada Tuhan dan diri sendiri untuk tetap menjaga keperjakaan mereka hingga menikah.

Selain antiseks sebelum menikah, Jonas Brother sepakat untuk tidak mengonsumsi alkohol, rokok, apalagi obat-obatan terlarang. Tak hanya barcitra anak muda "baik-baik", Jonas Brother pun sudah memunculkan sifat dermawan sejak awal memulai karir mereka. Bahkan di tahun 2007, Jonas Brother mendonasikan 10 persen dari total pendapatannya yang mencapai 12 juta US dollar ke yayasan yang mereka rintis bernama Change for Children Foundation.
Satu lagi prestasi dari keluarga ini, Nick Jonas, yang didiagnosa menderita diabetes sejak usia 13 tahun, menyandang gelar sebagai duta diabetes untuk membantu kampanye penanggulangan diabetes bagi para penderita di usia remaja.
